Hi, my name is Amanda Squires and I hadn’t realized how hard it is to write about myself until I sat down and actually tried to do it, but here goes.

I am from Port Aux Basques NL, and even though I love the town and I will always call it my home, I have never really lived there. My dad is a pastor and this caused us to move every couple of years. Because of this I have had the chance to live in almost every corner of this beautiful province that I love.

I have been singing with my dad in church- or whatever venue his ministry took us, since I could talk.  I was kind of like his right hand man, except that I was a girl! When I turned eighteen I left Newfoundland and went to Ontario to attend Eastern Pentecostal Bible College to train for a full time ministry of my own.  I met my husband there and got married as soon as we finished school.  He has been the other half I was missing and I have no idea how I got along without him for so long!

I have two beautiful little boys who are as different as night and day.  My oldest boy is James and he is six years old and my youngest is Micah who is 21 months old. They are both the sweetest little lights in my life.

I never thought I could actually be releasing a CD of my own, cause I really didn’t dream big enough, but things happened and I have been given an opportunity to do this. Part of me still can’t believe it’s real, but it is!   I truly hope that this CD speaks to people spiritually.  I want Jesus to be at the center of my world and evident in everything that I do, especially in this part of my life. This is the voice God gave me and I only hope that I can use it for Him. So I am  really excited to share my first CD with you. I hope you love it as much as I do.
